This happens because the answer reached the "max tokens" limit set in the Parameters.
If you encounter this issue repeatedly, you can adjust the parameters and increase the "Max Tokens" value.

If you have an OpenAI account (with a payment method connected), you can generate and use your OpenAI API key in AKME.

Follow these steps on the device you have AKME installed:

  1. Generate a new API key from your OpenAI account (give it a funny name)
  2. Copy the generate API key (don't close the popup yet!)
  3. Open AKME and go into the Account page
  4. Tap on BYOK and select "I have an API Key"
  5. Enter the copied API Key and tap on Save

The app will check your API key with OpenAI API and get the list of available models.

For security reasons, once the API key has been saved, it will not be shown in the app.

Experiment away

AKME has default values for the parameters so you can safely experiment with different values knowing that you can always reset and start fresh.

Change the model

In BYOK mode - when you use your own OpenAI API key - you can also change the model.
AKME downloads the list of all the models accessible for the API key, but it can only use models compatible with the "/chat" end-point.

When you buy in-app tokens, the API key and the model are set on the proxy server, for security reasons.
